Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a small Title I Dual Language neighborhood school. Each morning our students bounce up ready to get to school. The newly named Blue Ribbon school is in need of a revamped Early Childhood, ESL classroom so we can continue to bridge gaps. Thanks to our eagerness and dedication to our education we are well on our way to exceeding our benchmark goals for the year!!

My Project

Young readers need hands on materials to help build their reading and writing fluency. To help students make genuine progress, they should have ready access to differentiated materials/ resources. This project aims to meet the needs of Early Childhood/Pre- Kindergarten students at their individual developmental levels. From fine motor to alphabet knowledge and from beginning sounds to sight words- please consider helping fund our project. Currently, our classroom only holds a handful of resources for this purpose. These resources will keep our students engaged in learning throughout the year and for years to come!
