My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.

I have wide range of learners and I am working towards meeting all of their needs!

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are!

My school is considered a low socioeconomic school and all students receive free lunch. We use what we have at our school, and we make it work. We have a great community of teachers, staff, and administration that work hard to give the students what they need.

My Project

The snap circuits that are be requested are an exciting way for students to experience electricity and create electrical currents. This material would be used for students that finish their work early and need to keep their hands busy creating masterpieces. Snap circuits are an exciting way for students to create and share with others, because not all students will do something in the same way. I am looking forward to seeing the things that my students will be able to do with the snap circuits and look forward to showing them some exciting things that I know of, also!
