My students are 4 and 5 years old with special needs, who love to come to school to explore everything that is offered to them. Our school makes the students feel like they are at home. Each teacher is extremely passionate and is determined to "reach all and teach all." We try to expose the students to many things they may not get to see or get to do in their home life. The majority of our students receive free or reduced-rate lunch.
My school is located in the heart of a low-socioeconomic neighborhood.
My students need the Early Childhood STEM Bundle and Roll and Race Activity Ramp. These materials would be a great asset to my classroom and would also have an unforgettable impact on my students' way of learning. My students would have the opportunity to learn about speed, gravity, angles, motion, flotation, water flow, and wind power...just to name a few. Although my students have special needs, they still have a love for learning. With these materials, they will gain a better understanding of Science and Math. Hands-on learning makes an everlasting impression on ANYONE! "I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and understand." Confucius.
With your generous donations, I am almost certain that my students' learning experience will improve.
The Early Childhood STEM Bundle and Roll and Race Activity Ramp will both be great assets to our class. These items will give my students a hands-on opportunity to learn how to naturally solve problems through trial and error, play, and exploration. Science and Math are both essential parts of our everyday lessons but are too often overlooked. These materials will make Math and Science fun to learn!
