Our school is a small town, charter school that doesn't receive a lot of funding. ALL students receive free breakfast and lunch. The students here are a great bunch of kids, have a lot of personality, are well rounded, and many have a lot of potential.
However, the majority of students come from low-income families who do not have any additional income they can share with the school to help their children experience new things.
With DonorsChoose.org, I hope to bring experiences to them that they would not have had the opportunity to even know existed. I need your help to make that help!
My Project
Getting kids to get interested in science is always a difficult task for me as a teacher. However, with some of the items that I have in this project I think it will allow the each of my students to have the hands on learning that they will need to make the light bulb go off in the head that will link the science principle to the real life application.
I want to see that light bulb go off and with your help in this I will be able to see just that happen.
