My students need STEM materials to create and explore. They need a new rug to spread out and flash math cards to practice on. The LEGO set will allow them to build simple powered machines.

My Students

Our students come from a high poverty community and are in need of supplies that will engage them in the classroom. They are eager to learn and have someone motivate them to reach for the stars. I want to give them the resources, materials, and atmosphere that will allow them to soar.

These 24 students come from all different countries and share different cultures, but they all need nurturing and a strong foundation to build good learning skills and problem solving techniques to help them strive in life.

My Project

These materials will give the children experiences they may never have unless I provide them in my classroom. The Simple & Powered LEGO set will give them the materials to build while exploring their creativity. They will have to work as a team and use problem solving skills to complete the objectives. The rug will give them a safe and clean area to spread out and test their creations. The math flash cards and electronic machines will give them the strategies to practice math for mastery.

Give these children the resources they need to be successful lifelong learners and problem solvers.

All of these Stem materials will allow this in the classroom.
