I work in a rural farm community. I have a group of student who come from low income families trying to make ends meet. The students work extremely hard in my classroom. They love to come to school. I like to keep things on a level playing field allowing opportunities to all of them.
I would like to provide them latest opportunities to continue to grow their minds in math and science.
My students are being challenged all day long in my classroom. This opportunity will bring hands-on learning in a fun and exciting environment. Students need to see how things work and be able to develop reasoning skills within their projects.
My Project
My students will have time daily to work together to learn Science and Technology through multiple materials. Students will be excited each and every day with the ability to work hands-on while integrating the latest technology to code.
Every day I want my students to come to school eager to find out what is in store for the day.
This is a time when academics are extremely important, but it is also extremely valuable to demonstrate how school can truly be an unforgettable experience.
Students will grow academically and socially as they work together. All of these tools will teach them to collaborate together, share ideas, and learn from mistakes. Hands-on learning with allow these students to push themselves outside the daily academics of reading, writing, and math. It is critical for them to feel empowered in a world of ever-changing engineering!
