This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are Michigan area students who come from lower to middle income families. Many students have limited access to normal household settings. Students have a close bond culture in which they interact both in and out of school.

Students thrive with project based learning.

Creating projects and hands on activities really help their critical thinking learning and logical thought process. STEM programs that support creation and the ability to engineer projects make learning fun and exciting. Students want to build, touch, and create.

Students love STEM projects and the chance to create something from their own mind. Students love a classroom where it is not just writing papers or doing math problems on a worksheet. Collaboration and working with partners helps develop them as people and learners.

My Project

This robot can be coded and programmed to interact with the real world. This can build a students foundation in coding and programming. Critical thinking is also a huge skills which can be developed through this programmable robot.

This robot is a great tool to develop and complete project based learning activities in the classroom.

Many students need kinetic learning strategies that have hands on materials. Building obstacles and challenges is an engineering fundamental that can be applied using this robot.

Technology is advancing very fast in the workforce. This device would provide students exposure to programmable technology similar to what they will see after they graduate from High School and join the work force.
