Have you ever been curious about how yeast works or how crystals form? My students love exploring these and other questions through Food Science.
Our students have a thirst for knowledge!
As a STEM Academy, all of our students have committed to focusing their learning on science, technology, engineering and mathematics. They are eager to roll up their sleeves and get their hands into science!
The Ken A Vision Kena will allow me to project microscope images, so the students can see science in their food. The design makes it easy for students to use and get images like real scientists. Whether we are looking at the formation of salt crystals or investigating the mold growth on bread, students can see the images on the Smart-board and sketch their data to make inferences.
STEM learning for our students does not stop in math class or the science lab.
Having a Kena scope, specifically for Food Science, will allow students to continue their pursuit of STEM knowledge.
