My Students

We are the first intergenerational Pre-Kindergarten in our town. There are 20 students in our Pre-K class. All students will turn 4 by September 1. We our housed inside of a nursing home and will be working with the residents throughout the year. The students I have come from all socioeconomic groups throughout our town. The class is always full of energetic students who are ready to learn and excited to start their very first year of life long learning!

My Project

Technology in the classroom is a big shift in education today. We love our technology, however, these little minds need to stimulate their brains in other ways than through a screen.

This Light Cube would excite and stimulate my Pre-K students beyond the screen.

This cube would introduce the students to new engaging and inspiring activities. It would be stupendous to see this cube spark and ignite curiosity and wonder in the minds of my students.

The accessory kits and blocks that I have chosen will assist in sparking the fire in their little minds to explore and discover new ideals and theories of how things work, why things happen, and how to create solutions to problems that arise!
