My Project

My students are inner city children that come from a lot of backgrounds. They enjoy learning through play.

STEM toys like Marble Run and Gears!

Gears! Gears! Machines in Motion allow my students to learn while they are playing. It gives them a chance to creatively plan, build and then see if their plan was successful by turning gears or having the marbles complete the route down the track. They will have fun and they do not even know that they are learning. They will have to work cooperatively with others to design and carry out their project. It will help promote critical thinking.
