STEM Toys for Kinder Friends!

Help me give my students STEM toys to use in our classroom daily. These toys will be utilized during center time and indoor recess when we cannot go outside to play due to weather!

My Project

In my classroom there are currently 25 kiddos! Each of them equally sweet and fun. I am struggling to create engaging center stations and provide my students with fun activities to use when we have indoor recess. I have a handful of kiddos who only reach for the iPad, instead of choosing an activity that could help them build friendships, problem solve and so much more. Magnetic tiles are something that my students LOVE. I only have a small handful and they are constantly asking for more to build with. I searched for STEM toys several options for creative thinking, including brain flakes and straw connectors. I wanted to look for the best options to allow them to use their minds and create something new and exciting to them. I also included animals from the ocean to the jungle to play with, as well. Again, providing students with a variety of options that they can use their imagination with is the goal!

These materials would help my students so much!

As a teacher I am constantly looking for the best ways to engage my students and help promote healthy friendships with their peers. I believe these materials would absolutely help foster these long-lasting friendships!
