This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The STEM activities I plan for my classroom include hands on projects that teach students how to use tools, technology and many consumable products for building. Currently, I am going through many boxes and rearranging, collecting and sorting what we need in wardrobe cabinets that cannot be accessed during class. This project will provide my class with rolling carts and a table top cabinet to store the tools and STEM components that are used frequently during our building projects. We spend quite a bit of time discussing the importance of lab safety and organization. I believe these items will provide an opportunity for me to model these ideals.
