My students need hands on STEM materials that will develop their skills as engineers and critical thinkers. I will achieve this by having students use LEGOs to build structures and Ozobots to learn about coding!
My students can be described as fun and creative! They come from a variety of different cultural and economic backgrounds, as well as enter the classroom with different academic, social, and artistic abilities.
As their teacher, I strive to provide all students with engaging and meaningful learning experiences to help ensure their success in our classroom.
I am working towards providing my students with diverse books and materials that will help expand their thinking skills, as well as their knowledge of the world around them.
I plan to incorporate STEM activities into my daily curriculum as a tool to engage my students in what we are learning. By doing so, I am also exposing them to the wonders of technology and engineering in the hopes of fostering creativity, collaboration skills, and a love for learning!
My reasoning behind providing my students with ample exposure to STEM related activities and materials is to best prepare them for the technology driven world that lies ahead of them.
My students and I look forward to exploring different subjects with the help of incorporating science, technology, engineering, and math!
