My students need one iPad in order to learn coding and 3D design and printing.
This project expired on December 18, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are kind, friendly, tenacious, quirky, dedicated, caring, hilarious, brilliant, creative, and unique. They want to know more about the world around them. Daily I see students facing enormous challenges, and yet they come into class cheerful and ready to learn. They want to be in charge of their own learning, and we teachers want to give them real opportunities to grow as lifelong learners.
My students are bright, curious, and open to new ways of learning.
Our school has an excellent reputation for student learning, and the atmosphere is one of close collaboration among students. Students leave our school with a strong understanding of their place in the world and the ability to make their lives better.
My students need an iPad to help prepare them to be successful in their STEM endeavors. The iPad will be used to teach students how to code, design and print 3D objects, and animation. Aside from the subject matter, tablets will help them build the technology skills, problem-solving skills, and synthesizing skills they will need to be productive, well-rounded citizens.
There are only a handful of inventions that have changed the human experience on a profound level.
Computers and the Internet are in this exclusive club. We will use them to explore and apply STEM projects so that students will be ready for the future...whatever it may hold.
