My Students

My school has a high percentage of free and reduced-price lunch recipients.

We also have a large diversity of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. This year, I have a mixed ability group consisting of nine boys and eleven girls. Some have grasped reading skills at a faster rate than others, and some need a little more time. They are eager to learn.

My Project

I am asking for a small group kidney table. In first grade it is important for students to be able to work in small groups with the teacher. This kidney table will help me be able to meet with my students and give each group the help that they need. I will be able to split my students into groups based on the skills that they need the most help with to grow. Then I will be able to call these groups over one at a time and teach the groups. This table will be used in every subject including STEM. We have been using STEM in our class this year. My students need a table that they can complete these STEM projects at as a group and not just at their seats on their own. Thank you so much!
