My Students

I teach at a Title I school where many students may come to school hungry, in need of love and a caring adult. Sometimes the school day is the only time they receive structure and nurturing.

I want to make the learning fun for my students since they are beginning their school career.

Making learning fun helps the students stay engaged and have a blast at school. Many of my students have situations at home that are not ideal. Therefore, I want to give each of my students a chance to explore and feel safe at school.

My Project

Since I have started taking a STEM class this year, I have become excited to incorporate STEM projects into my classroom. As I was looking on the internet for ideas, I came across a project that incorporates a light up table for kids.

This table will allow the children to do color, capacity, alphabet, and building projects in a whole new way.

The light from the table will shine through the manipulative that I have purchased and make it look beautiful.

During this center the students will learn valuable skills like critical thinking, listening, working together, and gaining a deeper understanding of the concept. Please give to my project so my students can dive into STEM activities.
