My students are an amazing group of enthusiastic learners, eager to be challenged. We are a diverse classroom, representing 7 different countries. My students come from hard working, low income families. More than half of my class receives free and reduced lunch at our Title I School.
It is a joy to teach this group, and I am committed to providing opportunities that will engage and challenge them.
With severe budget cuts, we are dependent on donations for many everyday supplies.
My Project
My first graders LOVE to read and write. With a classroom set of Scholastic News and Science Spin Magazines, students will be able to read, research, and write in their Composition Journal books.
My first graders LOVE Science and Math!
The research magazines, journal books, pencils, and paper, will help support their STEM success! Students need Science Journal books for their research and writing. They also need Math Journal books for Daily Math, and Math Facts. Basic, everyday supplies of pencils and paper are also always needed.
My students will be excited to read the magazines and have their own journal books! Support for my project will help my students be successful!
