My Students

My students are curious about the world outside of our community! They ask hundreds of questions daily about all sorts of topics from cultural differences to the size of blood cells. They are deep thinkers and love learning.

My students are going to be world-changers, and they believe that.

They are confident learners, and they aren't afraid of learning. They crave more!

I am seeking to provide my students with STEM materials to expose them to deeper and broader thinking skills that will challenge their knowledge and allow them to explore the world in a new way.

My Project

These resources are unfortunately rare in the school I am teaching in. There are very few teachers with STEM kits, materials, or activities in my school. With these materials, I will be able to show my students that STEM activities are fun, challenging, and important. My coworkers will see the growth in my students, as well as the importance of STEM materials and activities. They will also see how much my students will enjoy their time with the materials. STEM activities teach students crucial thinking and creativity skills, and exposing my students to these skills at the early age of 7 and 8 will scaffold their ability to problem solve.
