My Students

I teach third grade at an elementary school in a rural and impoverished area. My students love school and I am always trying my hardest to foster their love of learning. I desire to provide them with the best possible resources, since many children cannot access them in other ways. As a first year teacher, I need a little bit of help to supply these materials for my classroom.

My students are fun, energetic, and kindhearted.

They have a passionate love for acquiring knowledge through any means possible. They are very inquisitive about the world around them!

My Project

STEM is a growing skill needed across all areas of life and schooling.

These STEM materials will provide hands-on learning experiences to my students.

The LEGO's allow them to practice building and experimenting with structures and force and motion. The electricity circuit kit ties into our standards of electricity and electrical circuits. Using these tools will allow students to experiment and see in a kinesthetic way how circuits work and operate.

These resources are building upon the skills that students need throughout their lives. It is important that students are exposed to these materials so they can become better thinkers and problem-solvers.
