STEM Recess

Help me give my students STEM activities that they can use during indoor recess. With magnetic tiles building blocks and a super building set with gears, my students can learn through play and become independent thinkers!

My Students

My students are energetic and full of life! They love to learn through play and exploration. With winter coming we will have some indoor recess days. Students love to use LEGOs during indoor recess, but would also love to have other activities that are STEM related.

My Project

These STEM activities will be used during indoor recess. My students love to explore and learn through play. Currently, my students have a bin of Legos that they love to use at indoor recess but will love these new STEM activities to play/learn with even more! It is important to have fun which makes learning easy! I have noticed a difference in my students when they are engaged in activity versus when they are not. These STEM activities will have a great impact on each students' learning along with their behavior. The goal for these STEM materials is for students to work on 21st-century skills of problem-solving, and using critical thinking skills.
