My students need some STEM activities to aid in their enrichment in the classroom! Really excited about these opportunities where my students can hands on work with conversion of energy! Please consider donating!

My Students
My students are scientists in the making! While we love math and social studies, my kiddos would LOVE some more opportunities for hands on learning!
With such a focus on technology, I would like to incorporate more engineering within our science classes.
In order to accomplish this, we will use the Hydropower, Solar, and Wind Turbine kits to gain a hands on understanding of many different ways energy can be used.
Within the engineering component comes a lot of prep time, student discovery time, as well as materials, which these kits provide.
What a great way to learn as well as get all students excited for science class each day!
My Project
The three projects I have listed from Thames and Kosmos will give students the opportunity to see first hand how stored energy can be converted into another form for practical use. Students will work on constructing hydropower models, solar panel models, as well as wind turbines- how wind can be used to create power in our everyday life.
The Solar Power Kit, Hydro power renewable energy source, and construct your own wind turbine will make a huge difference in my student's learning because they will be the engineers behind the scientific topic .
They will be able to build each model, then experience the science behind the energy topic. Please help my fourth graders get this experience in the classroom. :)
