STEM Projects and Manipulatives for Special Needs Children
Help me give my students the chance to learn using hands-on experiences. They are so capable of learning but may just learn differently from other children. These literacy and math-based manipulatives will help them so much.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My sweet students are children grades K-5 with special needs. These children struggle to be on their grade level and need a lot of extra resources to help them learn. They are eager, sweet, thoughtful, and want to learn like their peers. They love hands-on activities and sensory items. These types of things stimulate their brain making learning and retaining what they learn easier.
We would so appreciate the chance to obtain some of the resources that can help this specific group of children overcome some of their obstacles so that they can achieve and feel success.
They are so capable and creative if they have the proper materials and they are able to learn through play. Thank you so much for considering my group. They are my heart.
My Project
I will use these products to help my classroom of children with various special needs. I have children from K to 5th grade in my room so I need a wide variety of resources to help these children learn on their level with their abilities. They learn so much by play and through hands-on activities and the items that I chose really focus on that aspect of learning. Projects are a really great way to experience the lesson and since my kids are sensory, they also learn through touch.
