Help me give my students the chance to love math and science in a whole new way. We are starting a new stem program with our 3rd grade students. These two sets would cover two 3rd grade classrooms.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are eager to learn and experience new things. They are bright and curious about math and science. These students really need more hands on activities that will help them grow and have the chance to experience math and science in a new way. These students are very active and creative, they learn best by doing.
Each and every student takes a lot of pride in everything they do.
Unfortunately, because of the low income area, most of these students do not have a lot of experiences and really need school to show them the things they never get to experience anywhere else.
My Project
STEM activities provide hands-on and minds-on lessons for the student. Making math and science both fun and interesting helps the student to do much more than just learn. It gives students a chance to learn and love math and science. Students will have a chance to create given projects while learning math and science. They will have the opportunity to reflect verbally with one another, which will help them be better communicators; as well as write reflections that will help them become better writers. This will be an even greater help to our students who are not good at the normal book learning, they will have the opportunity to show their learning in another way. This will also help to bring more science back into our classroom in a new an exciting way.
