My Students

My students are special because they are constantly curious, admirably empathetic and affectionate. They love to help others and persevere through projects. My students are self directed and learning independence. As third graders they are preparing for the grades ahead and have so much potential. This group of students deserves the world. Many don’t come from much and I can only provide them with so many resources and snacks per day! I thank in advance Elvis Duran for starting this project and for everyone who is interested in helping the children of the future thrive.

My Project

This kit is exactly what I have been dreaming of. I am hoping to engage my students in more hands on learning and STEAM projects. We don’t have a lot of materials that can be used and shared and this could really benefit our science and math programs! I would be thrilled to be able to provide my students with this type of hands on learning. This is how students learn best in my opinion - when they are expected to build and create to solve problems. This involves higher order thinking and problem solving skills. Thank you in advance !
