My students are excited about learning. Hands-on experiences and different innovative ways to learn spark interest in learning. Many of my students love technology but are unable to afford many of the things teens today take for granted. My school is very rural, and many students have been unable to experience the latest technology trends and devices that are available. We are a Title I school. However, these students are passionate about their learning as are their teachers. They are ready for hands-on learning.
Many of my students are hands-on learners who desire to create and interact with their learning.
Robotics allows such experiences and will offer my students many opportunities that may otherwise be out of their reach. Also, opening their eyes to the world of engineering and potential careers is the goal.
My Project
This shelving unit along with the bins allow me to create a mobile stem solution for my entire school. The goal of this project is to help bring STEM to more classes within our school. Currently, most of the STEM supplies are stored in one classroom and have to be brought to other classes individually. The Seville Classics Commercial 8-Tier Black/Yellow NSF 24-Bin Rack Storage System will help ease this process. Additionally, it is hoped that more students will be reached by this new solution.
Seville Classics Commercial 8-Tier Black/Yellow NSF 24-Bin Rack Storage System allows for STEM on Wheels, as stated in the title.
This increases the reach of STEM within our school.
