Help me give my students a truly collaborative experience! In order to add to the alternative seating we have, these dry erase activity tables will make it possible for students to work together brainstorming projects and designing projects.
I teach students in both the engineering and construction technology programs at a tech academy in Las Vegas. The students strive to do their best. My students range from 10th to 12 grades. They are very technology oriented. They use several different drafting programs, google classroom and all parts of the google education suite including google docs, sheets, slides and drawings.
These students are hard working and dedicated.
They are excited to learn! The students are involved in a program that helps them prepare for college as engineering and architecture students or a career in construction. They come from diverse backgrounds, but are learning to work together collaboratively on a daily basis.
My Project
My engineering and drafting students often brainstorm design ideas as well as work in collaborative groups. I have chosen these ECR4Kids 48" Collaboration Cog Dry Erase Adjustable Activity Tables to allow them to do this process right at their seat. They can use these tables to express their ideas visually to their partners and record the process.
These tables will allow students to work collaboratively and creatively on their STEM projects.
They can work through calculations, sketch ideas, and share concepts on these dry erase tabletops. This will be a wonderful addition to the alternative seating that was added this year.
