Help me give my students Magna-Tiles and Wooden Planks for our STEM projects in class. The more manipulatives we have, the harder projects we can build!
My students are amazing! In first grade, they range in academic ability, but they all work hard! Our school is nestled in a wonderful neighborhood in Texas. We have around 450 students in our school, that serves K-4.

These activities will foster higher order thinking skills and prepare them for career readiness, even at this young age! STEM activities engage students, as well as challenge their brains to think in ways they haven't been able to before.
My Project
STEM projects are an amazing way to engage children in their learning. It's also an easy way to bump up the rigor in our Math and Science areas as well. Anytime we use hands-on manipulatives, the students' excitement is also affected.
By using Magna-Tiles, and Wooden Keva Planks, my students will be excited to build, create, and compete in STEM activities in our school's growing MakerSpace room.
Anytime STEM projects are introduced in my classroom, my students want to work longer and harder than ever before! Education is changing all the time due to technological demands. By using STEM activities, it will help them "love" to learn, and help instill a drive and passion to learn.
