We have Asian, Hispanic, African American, and Caucasian students, which makes us very diverse. Some of our students have language barriers that they are trying to overcome, while still learning educational material. Working with their peers on projects will help them overcome some of life's hurdles.
Our students love learning, especially when we are able to make it more STEM related and hands-on.
The students are very kind and helpful towards each other and they need some real-world experiences to be ready for the future ahead of them.
My Project
These materials will help me bring robotics down to the level of PreK through 2nd grade. Students at this age learn more from seeing and doing. These materials will put the students right in the middle of hands-on learning. The students with work in groups at centers to accomplish task in coding which is an important future skill.
My littlest students need hands-on experiences to ignite the thrill of robotics in their minds.
When manipulating the robots and accessories, the students will learn how their coding makes real things happen. This will help the students think out of the box and get them ready for real-world experiences.
