In Kindergarten, my students are joyful, energetic, inquisitive, adventurous, and ready to learn. They are explorers and risk takers.
Our school is a PLC campus, where we collaborate and share kids and meet each child at their point of need.
Kindergarteners come in at many different levels and instruction is differentiated to meet the students needs.
In Kindergarten we like to explore with many hands-on materials and discuss our thinking and how we came up that solution. Students learn by doing and there is always a workshop model to explore.
My Project
The products I have selected will help my students in creative thinking. They will be able to explore and gain problem solving strategies.
Students will use these tools and work together to get a common goal.
The carpets selected will give them a place to have their own seating area or work space to work. Kindergarten students need to have this personal workspace to help them be more successful.
These tools will be used in learning throughout the day during math and science workshop time. Kindergarten students will be able to collaborate their thinking and learn together and to continue to gain their problem solving skills with the engineering building set.
Students will use the dice for number recognition and addition/subtraction during math workshop time.
