STEM Learning Labs
My students need the complete series of STEM learning labs.
"What do you want to be when you grow up?" I want my fourth graders to consider mathamaticians, scientists, and engineers as possible career choices.
My fourth graders are a diverse group of children whose abilities range because I am an inclusive classroom teacher.
I have EC, ESL, and LEP students in my classroom but they are all eager to learn and try new challenges. They come to school prepared to give learning their all and I make sure they are up for the challenge!
I am asking for the STEM labs so that my students will have a chance to be a part of the scientiific process and design and build roller coasters, complete electrical circuits, and explore gravitational forces. These kits will help me integrate STEM activities into our daily instruction. They will also help students to develop teamwork, critical thinking skills, and problem solving skills.
By donating to this project, you will be making it possible for students to see that careers in math, science, and technology are options available to them.
You will be helping to instill skills such as critical thinking and problem solving which will help them to prepare for the future workplace. Help me to entice my students with the knowledge these labs will provide.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
