Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach at a Title I school where most of my students come from low-income families. A lot of my students' highlight of their day is coming to school and using the resources they can't access at home. They love using the technology, STEM building supplies, and art supplies. I love being able to give my students these experiences, and I work hard to give my students a fun, safe, and loving learning environment. I have a lot of ELL students and would love to have the supplies to give them a well-rounded education.
My Project
These STEM building materials will make a difference in my students' learning by giving them the opportunity to use these learning tools like hands-on learning centers.
STEM-based learning tools are a great benefit to young children, it gives them the opportunity to explore in their own learning way.
Many students learn from using their hands and brains at the same time. These STEM products will allow my students to do this type of learning and grow their understanding of multiple subjects. Students will use these products to build their engineering knowledge and learning how to make and follow building plans.
