The new STEM/STEAM Lab at our school will provide students with hands-on learning opportunities. The lab will be new in the 2020-2021 school year. I am building a classroom from scratch with limited resources.
My students are creative and enthusiastic about learning.
This new adventure will promote critical thinking, inspire creativity, and support student growth. Students at my school have won robotics competitions and created websites to raise funds for worthy projects. They are ready for the challenge and rigor of that a STEM/STEAM lab will provide.
My Project
Our school will have a STEM lab for the first time this upcoming school year. With budget cuts, supplying our new lab may be a little harder. With these materials, students can participate in STEM lessons and engage in hands-on learning. The materials in this project will be utilized in each project that the students complete in their STEM lessons. These are the basics and essentials for the classroom as we get this program started.
Students will create, plan, build, and evaluate utilizing these learning materials.
They will design boats, test their designed static cars, and create marshmallow catapults. Please help these amazing kids have an incredible opportunity to boost their interest in STEM and how it can further their future opportunities in life.
