Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are so fun and energetic. They make me laugh every day. They love coming to school and learning new things. They come from all different backgrounds and have such a love for knowledge.

I love finding out what they're passionate about and incorporating it into our daily lessons.

I love all of the stories they have to share and seeing them get excited about new things. They are truly the next leaders of the world, and I am so excited to see where they go in life.

My Project

These are great items to help students facilitate and create their own projects. STEM is the future and I want to encourage students to keep building and creating.

There are projects in here to help with geometry.

Fifth grade geometry really dives into the depths of shapes and how they are used in the real world. Students learn to apply what they know about shapes into mathematical applications. These different challenges will help students follow directions and learn the "why" as to the reason these shapes work together to hold weight.

The LEGOs in here are for students to create their own designs. These will give students different options of materials to use. The Legos give the students the opportunity to use their imaginations to come up with their own creations.

The name plates have the basic shapes and names for students to refer to for the basic elements of the shapes.
