My Project

In my kindergarten classroom, our favorite part of the day is Tub Time. During this time, students explore, build, experiment, and play. This time of the day is a great opportunity for students to work together, learn to share, learn trial and error, and practice problem solving. The tubs that are available during this time have a STEM focus as well as a focus on developing fine motor skills.

This project would give my students more different materials to explore, build, and play with.

One special thing in this project is the light-up sensory table. This table would allow students to practice fine motor skills while using tweezers and other grabbing materials. The sensory table will be filled based on the themes of our science unit.

Overall, this project is would allow me to switch up our tub time activities even more and inspire students to continue to explore, build, and play in different ways.
