Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My students are five to six-year-olds who come to school every day with smiles on their faces, eager to learn.
I am a first-year teacher, teaching full-day kindergarten to twenty-three students. Most of my students are English language learners who come from low-income homes. At our school, one hundred percent of the student population receives free breakfast and lunch. Overall, my students are caring, enjoy hands-on experiences, and enjoy learning new things every day. As their teacher, I enjoy teaching them every single day.
My Project
Kindergarten is full of learning in fun ways. Kids learn best when they use their hands and minds together to investigate and explore.
STEM empowers students with the skills needed to succeed and adapt to this ever changing and growing world.
Science is everywhere and impacts every living thing.
By providing STEM practices at an early age, students will develop strong skills they can use for life: inquiry, critical thinking, teamwork, problem solving, and more. STEM skills also help bridge the ethnic and gender gaps that we often see in math and science.
