This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

STEM Toys are Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math based toys geared towards learning, curiosity, and education. I want to make our indoor recess experience an opportunity for students to develop STEM skills while playing with their classmates.

In our school we do not have an indoor play area; every day that is snowing, raining, or brutally cold, students must have recess in the classroom.

STEM educational toys teach kids to focus on the four subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. They are a great way to reinforce the importance of learning in a fun way.

These toys help kids develop a wide range of skills from critical thinking and problem-solving to the basics of engineering and the scientific method. Children learn in a hands-on, fun, and engaging way. Please help me to improve my students' indoor recess experience.
