My 7th grade science classes are a creative and thoughtful group of students. We explore science together through a variety of methods; reading, writing, experiments, and digital learning. My students love to explore scientific topics through hands-on interactive activities.
This group of students is very diverse, with students of varying backgrounds, learning styles and academic interests.
Our students span the socio-economic spectrum and have varied experiences outside school. I like to provide engaging, inquiry-based, hands-on activities to make life science topics come alive .
My Project
Circuit Cubes were the #1 STEM toy of 2018. They teach important physical science concepts including circuits, energy transformation, simple machines and forces. These are all part of our 7th grade curriculum.
The jobs of tomorrow require innovation, creativity, and thinking outside the box.
Circuit cubes provide students the opportunity to learn all these things as well as our curriculum standards. In addition, hands-on, inquiry-based science is engaging to a diverse population of students. This improves school attendance, behavior, social and emotional well-being of students. This will also inspire students to become engineers, inventors, and pursue other successful job opportunities .
