Help me give my students STEM materials to provide hands-on lessons for my students. We need Squiz, Plus Plus Blocks, an IQ Builder set, and Sterelite storage to keep them all organized.
My second-grade classroom is a place where students can learn and discover new and exciting things each day. They come to school excited and eager to learn, and I want to do everything I can so they can be successful.
My students are second graders in a suburban, low-income elementary school.
The changes that are occurring in our classroom are creating positive effects on our students. I want to bring new and exciting opportunities to my students in order to keep them engaged and excited about learning.

My Project
Students can use the design and engineering activities in the STEM kits that I have requested to learn and reinforce core knowledge and skills in real-time. This will provide hands-on materials to help develop critical thinking skills, and get them ready for the real-world.
Creating STEM centers in my classroom will encourage curiosity and problem solving, as well as further develop language skills, fine motor skills, and give my students an understanding of how the materials in their world work.
The Squiz can be connected by suction, and can stick to any non-porous surface. They provide endless amounts of creativity for students, and have even won awards! The IQ builder set was inspired by a group of teachers, and can demonstrate concepts of geometry, physics, and mathematics.
These materials will allow the students to create a cooperative learning environment as students work together to make successful creations!
