My students are from the Twin Cities area. They are bright, excited, and eager to learn. They love to have creative, hands-on, engaging, learning experiences. My students come from diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds.
Creative, curious and displaying a need to be challenged would best describe my students.
They desire a variety of challenges that will stretch their processing abilities. As a STEM school, we integrate a variety of hands-on, technological and creative learning environments to best meet the needs of students in the 21st century.
My Project
My students will benefit from creative, flexible seating that allows students to move freely throughout the classroom. Students will be able to use the sand-filled ball chairs to encourage movement but allow stability at student tables. Students will be able to access challenging, hands-on lessons and activities through an adaptable learning environment. Pencil grippers will allow students to effectively hold and manipulate pencils to become skilled and creative writers.
By donating to our project, the students will be able to work collectively and collaboratively on projects that challenge their science, math and critical thinking skills yet allow stability at their table spots.
In a flexible classroom, students will become excellent questioners and processors of diverse STEM activities.
Sand ball chairs allow students movement at their table spot yet gives students stability. Students are able to easily collaborate with other students at their table.
By donating to our project, the students will be able to work collectively and collaboratively on projects that challenge their science, math and critical thinking skills yet allow stability at their table spots..
Students in a flexible classroom will have the opportunity to create challenging, collaborative and technological learning projects.
