My Students
My students are little learners who are very excited to be in school. Most of them have never been in a learning environment before. They have either been to daycare or stayed at home with a guardian. My school is a wonderful school where the teachers, principal, and staff love their community and school. These kiddos are very active and always on the move. It is a very fun age, but always asking "What's next?"! We are looking to add to the fun!
My Project
Many think that Pre-K is just playing. One of my favorite things about the beginning of the school year is watching my kiddos faces light up when they are allowed to try something they have never tried before. I love dreaming about their future professions, based on what they love to do in my classroom. I have a classroom full of excited, exploratory, Pre-K students. These materials will allow my children to deepen their exploration beyond what is typical for an early childhood classroom. In addition to sensory exploration, alphabet exploration, block exploration, etc., the Stand Up Magnet Board and Engineer-a-Coaster will allow these children to deepen their early knowledge in STEM. The children will be able to think out of the box!
