My students need more STEM Education supplies to help spark their love of learning. The students will use the building supplies to create STEM solutions while in Maker Space.
My students are excited for the school year to start back again. When they come to school, they are excited and eager to learn. Most of my students are below grade level. 90% of my students receive free/reduced lunch. We have numerous ESE students as well as ELL students. My students experience numerous traumas at home and they need social, emotional, and financial support.
Many of my students are interested in STEM education and are eager to learn more.
It's heartwarming to seeing many of our very young students fully engaged in STEM projects and skills.
My Project
These STEM materials will be used by all of my 475 elementary schools in our Maker Space. Our Maker Space is fairly new and in need of resources to help foster their curiosities about STEM. Our students love learning about the solar system and they also love using microscopes to look at slides. Our students also enjoy creating new invention and the craft supplies are the perfect addition to our Maker Space. The rubiks cubes are a great challenge for our puzzle loving students.
Our students love learning about STEM and these resources will help foster their love of learning.
After lunch, students from every class comes to our media center to join our Maker Space. Maker Space is a fun, engaging space where students learn through play and collaboration. Students are able to build, invent, measure, and have fun every day. We are just in need of new supplies to make our Maker Space more engaging for our students.
