My students are 5-6-year-olds who come to school every day with smiles on their faces and are eager to learn.
I am a first-year teacher, teaching full-day kindergarten to 23 students. Most of my students are English language learners who come from low-income homes. At our school, 100% of the student population receives free breakfast and lunch. Overall, my students are caring, enjoy hands-on experiences, and enjoy learning new things every day. As their teacher, I enjoy teaching them every single day.
My Project
My students are awesomely creative in kindergarten! They enjoy hands on activities and completing STEM projects.
The following supplies such as the sticker paper, crayons, tumblers and plastic eggs will allow students to reach their creative potential during STEM time!
My students will use the following supplies along with our classroom Cricut machine to get creative during STEM time.
Students tend to analyze and engage more efficiently when they understand that the culminating activity will allow them to show what they know in an artistic manner! The supplies will allow students to become creativity during STEM. They will be able to build items and use the stickers to label items/sections. They can also create stickers with the paper and use our classroom Cricut to cut them out. They will also be able to use the tumblers as part of their projects to create structures, along with the plastic eggs they will be able to add to their structure during STEM time. They will be able to add color with the crayons. All students deserve the chance to show what they know in a way that allows them to be comfortable with self expression! STEM and hands on activities allows students to put their best foot forward!
