Help me give my students the experience of coding at an early age. These fun critters will help them not only play games but code them to do fantastic things.
I have a class of 20 active Kindergartener students. They love school and are learning fast. I have an equal amount of boys and girls and both love learning. It is amazing how quickly they understand the concepts being taught. Most kindergarten programs are moving to a play based curriculum, where kids get involved with realistic type play that mimics everyday life. Everyday life involves using technology everyday in a variety of ways.
These Kindergarteners love using technology to learn.
We are currently using a shared set of Coding Bugs, iPads, and Chromebooks. The kids are so excited when it is their turn to work with any of these devices.
My Project
The products that I have chosen for my students will help them learn about technology in a different format. We have access to a small amount of coding devices on certain occasions. The devices need to be shared with a building of 225 kids. I am hoping with these specific coding critters we will be able to use them daily. The children will use them to read vocabulary words, add numbers together and move the critter to the correct spot or simply plan where in the room they want the critter to go.
Please help me get Coding Critters in the hands of my children!
