My 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students are full of excitement for STEM class every day! Teaching STEM has been an awesome experience for the students this year. They are full of energy and love to try new things each day in my class. We are always busy building both projects and out brains each day. They love to problem solve and try to make things happen, even if they fail, they are learning so many great lessons.
My students are very inquisitive and love to try new things!
I really want them to enjoy their learning and make it fun for them, all while helping them to learn. Since this is my first year as a STEM teacher, I am in need to supplies to make all of these great projects happen for my students. Please consider helping our students with these supplies to help their minds and love for learning expand.
My Project
These supplies will help my students complete their in class STEM projects. Thee materials they use help them complete the challenges that they are issued in my class. We have completed things like building balsa bridges to scale and testing them for strength, building Rube Goldberg machines, to everyday challenges like building a shelter for people to survive the elements in, or constructing boats to help people survive in a storm. Every project that we complete, the students have the option of taking their project home to keep and hopefully be proud of something that they have created and used their minds outside of the regular core classes education setting.
