My students need STEM Challenge Kits to work through and understand the scientific method: Egg Drop, Boats and Buoyancy, Chemical Reactions, Catapults, and Balloon Race Cars!
Our classroom is a place where the joy of learning is instilled in every child. We celebrate growth, track progress, and set goals. We problem solve and explore, and we practice good character.
Growing in knowledge, character, and leadership is what we do in our room.
We learn how to better ourselves academically and socially and we practice this daily. Students are rewarded through praise from both myself and each other. Please help us continue to grow into life-long learners!
My Project
This project will be an outstanding way for students to work through and really understand the scientific method and build their designing and engineering skills. With these items, teams will compete in Egg Drop Challenges, Boats and Buoyancy Challenges, Balloon Car Races and Chemical Reaction Rocket Challenges in an effort to fully understand these important concepts through hands-on, student centered and student driven work.
These are the projects students will remember forever.
These challenges will be an amazing way for students to improve their school lives as it will engage them in their learning of science, technology, engineering, and math and it will transfer to the real world. Students will persevere through these challenges and they will work together to solve problems and they will gain valuable skills they can use for the rest of their lives.
