Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal is to take my students' learning to the next level by giving them opportunities to apply their learning with some challenges. I am a special education teacher and I have noticed that this year has been a year to inspire them by providing ongoing engaging activities.

With the materials I have chosen I would be able to have my students build on their prior knowledge of what we have learned.

They will be able to create a Paper Roller Coaster with some of these materials. We would later invite others to come to our classroom to test out our roller coasters and make it a roller coaster fair.

What person doesn't enjoy playing with cars? My students will have the ability to apply their knowledge of Newton's Laws, Force, Friction and so much more with the use of the tracks and Hot Wheels.

To make this even a more incredible learning experience and a fun classroom environment why not make it a glow day learning. Thank you again for supporting our student's learning and experience.
