My students need hands-on materials to create a cross-curricular learning environment. I would like to incorporate all subjects together through STEM learning, and these materials will help me accomplish to bring learning to life.
In our school, we have a very diverse group of students from all different backgrounds. We have never met a group of students so eager to learn and read. It is amazing!
Our students absolutely love to read and learn, and read on all different grade levels with many different interests.
They like to move, they love to learn, and love lots of positive attention.
The materials that we have for our third graders to learn is outdated, and I'm looking for unique materials to help enhance their love for learning and create a more flexible, friendly, and exciting environment for learning in my classroom. We have had samples of different forms of flexible seating introduced in our classroom, and our students have been so engaged in their learning while using them that we are so hopeful that we can bring them as a permanent resource in our classrooms!
My Project
My students like to accomplish hands-on tasks as they learn. They love building and accomplishing tasks that require STEM skills, and I would like to bring their passion for those tasks into my Language Arts classroom. Last month, we brought a reading lesson to life for an entire week as we built STEM projects that related to the stories about the winter olympics that we read.
The students were so engaged and had the biggest smiles on their faces as they learned, but also were eager to continue to learn more.
I want to be able to bring that kind of engaged learning to my classroom on a regular basis, and these tools will help me bring STEM learning to my classroom year-round. These ETA kits will allow me to bring the cross-curricular learning into my classroom to help students continue to extend their learning and bring forward a passion for what they learn.
