My Students

Our school in Richmond, CA is considered high poverty with a diverse student population. In fact, our school is one of the most ethnically diverse schools in the Bay Area.

The students in my class are a bright bunch and really look forward to STEM activities and reading.

First grade is an extremely empowering year, and I would like to offer my students STEM activities, science books and math supplies. I am also excited to have some new Physical Education equipment for our daily fitness activities.

My Project

My students love learning about math, science and technology.

Hands on materials are the best for student learning.

I am asking for various STEM exploration building materials as well as books with a STEM theme. The Design & Build Engineering Centers and Create-A-Chain Reaction STEM Kit are perfect for these types of hands on activities. Also, the Learning Journey Match It! Memory - Mathematics - STEM Addition and Subtraction Game Helps to Teach Early Math Facts 30 Matching Pairs is perfect to help students quickly recognize their first grade math facts.

Finally, I'm asking for some PE equipment to help our students with daily fitness activities.
