We live in a rural area and more than half of all of my students qualify for free or reduced lunches.
My students attend a VPI Pre School program for at-risk students in a public school.
Our is also a school-wide Title I. There learning styles vary from student to student. We need classroom STEM materials and tables and chairs that are appropriately sized for their little bodies and minds.
Many of our families come from low-income, one parent homes. Some even reside with their grandparents or are considered homeless.
These kids are crazy for learning! These students are diverse learners and are eager to participate in engaging educational exciting learning activities. We need to provide the materials and instruction for them!
My Project
If you help fund this project you will provide these terrific 4-year-olds materials that will help develop their first love for learning about sciences and create creative minds! These kids are our future and we need to take responsibility for developing their little minds!
The table and chairs will provide a center time place where they will be able to use microscopes, slides, and magnetic tiles to learn about how science is all about fun and exciting and fun opportunities to explore the world around them!
We live in a very rural low socioeconomic area where families do not have the resources to help support and provide educational support from home. Let's help these kids develop a love for the sciences! They may be the next scientist to help find answers for many needed life questions!
