My students need STEM books to read and check out. STEM is the new future for these students. Only by read and exploring science, math, and technology can make them learn and become interested in STEM careers.
Our library is the center of learning in our school. Our students visit the library often for a variety of reasons, and we want to continue to serve them. Our school is a rural middle school with almost 650 students. All of our students receive free lunch and breakfast through a federally funded program. Our students are AWESOME! They are unique, creative, and talented. They come from all walks of life. Our students have a love for learning and are anxious to read and discover new books!
My Project
My students need to read and check out STEM books. In order, for students to learn about and gain interest in STEM-related careers that need to be exposed to as many STEM-related books and resources as possible. The books I have selected are great science books for students to read and use for research.
These STEM books will provide students the opportunity to direct their own learning about science, math, and technology.
Students will be using these books as a starting point to learn about all things science, math, and technology. Enhancing our STEM books in the library will benefit many students now and in the future.
